Since I have about an hour between each load I’ve been working on my grandfather’s 1954 Chevy flatbed. If I get it running and clean, its all mine.
Where I Learned To Drive: So not to endanger others — or ourselves — on city streets, my husband taught me to drive in Big Bend NP. These are cars we abandoned after my lessons! 😀 Actually I’m a better driver than he is (just ask me!). These are shells of rusted autos I’ve run across out there. Top 2 are near Terlingua Ranch Rd.; bottom 2 off the River Rd. I’d post a photo of my car but it’s in the paint & body shop. 😩

"I give you five minutes when we get there. Anything happens in that five minutes and I’m yours. No matter what. Anything a minute on either side of that and you’re on your own. I don’t sit in while you’re running it down. I don’t carry a gun. I drive." - Drive (2011)
