We finally got around to assembling our set of dollies for the rear tires.  What a difference it makes being able to push the car around on our concrete parking pad!
Side note: We are also glad we no longer see that creepy “Christine”-like face when we pull into the driveway at night!
Now it is right by the garage where we have all our tools and implements of destruction.  Much more convenient!

Magic Bus: VW Restoration Project reveals Hidden Surprise

Back in the 60s and 70s, the VW Micro-bus was synonymous with the hippie culture, with flower power and homegrown pharmaceuticals being part of the mystique that helped make the real original minivan a 1960s icon.

For the owner of a 1958 double panel restoration project, history became very real. When checking out the undercarriage of his new purchase, he found 14 LBS of marijuana stashed away. I can’t estimate the exact street value of such a find from the pictures, (if you can, let me know in the comments) I would assume that it’s a hell of a lot more than the value of this rusted out van.
